We were out of control sideways, on the I-80.
It sounded and even smelled so real, as I could feel the impact that never came.
A silent collision beneath a windowless sky.
Days later as I stared again, at the image in the mirror for the meaning
and the meaning was to look for a lost painting, that had yet to be created.
Several times I asked, if the next journey was to be
Qatar or Dubai but the signs now pointed to the
shores of Cotai.
